(Washington, D.C.) First lady Jill Biden instructed a group of guests and White House staff to clap and cheer for her presidential husband after he managed to write his name again on an official document after several minutes of prompting.
“Okay, everyone, let’s hear it for our widdle commander-in-chief, Joey!” Jill Biden directed as those assembled showed all the enthusiasm of a North Korean general clapping for Kim Jong-un so he doesn’t get ‘disappeared.’
“He did it, didn’t he? We know you could, Joey!” Jill Biden continued, pinching her husband’s cheek and eliciting a garbled sentence and a grin. “You are still the best, honey! The best! And we’re gonna give you four more years to play president!”
It’s not clear what document Joe Biden had signed, or whether it was even real, but he clearly seemed to enjoy the moment as the first lady promised “more of these fun president things” in the future.
