LOS ANGELES — Rap legend Ice Cube’s current tour hit an unexpected snag this weekend after, according to eyewitnesses, the ghost of late N.W.A. member Eazy-E allegedly firebombed Cube’s luxury tour bus in retaliation for “some real foul stuff” Cube said back in 1991 in the song ‘No Vaseline.’

“I knew Cube shouldn’t have brought up the ‘Dre Day’ era in interviews again,” said one terrified roadie, who claimed he saw a spectral figure wearing a Compton Raiders hat hurl a Molotov cocktail made of ectoplasm at the parked vehicle. “It’s been over thirty years, but apparently Eazy’s spirit is still mad about ‘No Vaseline.’ Honestly, he’s got a point. That song was brutal.”

Paranormal investigators confirmed scorch marks on the side of the bus that smelled faintly of St. Ides and afterlife brimstone. Cube, meanwhile, brushed off the incident, telling reporters, “Look, I respect Eazy forever, but if his ghost got a problem with me, he can drop a diss track like everybody else. Firebombing my bus is some cowardly stuff.”

Eazy’s ghost has reportedly refused to appear on Drink Champs to clear the air, insisting through Ouija board messages that “Cube knows what he did.”

At press time, Ice Cube’s security team had been seen sprinkling holy water mixed with Olde English 40 around the tour venue, while Dr. Dre assured fans that he would stay neutral because “this beef is literally supernatural now.”
