(Washington, D.C.) Recipients of President Biden’s student loan debt relief are discovering that any savings they have gotten by no longer having a payment have been wiped out by his inflationary economic policies.
“I’m really disappointed and I never expected this,” Rob Langston of Boston said. “This whole thing seems like a scandal to me. Like he tricked me or something. I get this loan payment wiped out but then I am spending just as much for food, gas, rent, and cannibis gummies.
“Did we really get any relief at all? I mean, seriously? What are we supposed to do now? I just feel like this was all a scam,” he continued.
Langston said he and others he knows of who were forgiven their student loans plan on pressing the White House and the president to offer some “real relief” by making more of what they have to have in order to live day to day cost-free.
“Why do I have to pay for food? Why do I keep having to pay rent when others don’t? Where is my free iPhone? How come I can’t get a voucher for gas? This sucks,” Langston added.
It’s not clear if the administration is planning anymore freebies for Americans, but Biden hasn’t said anything about changing his economic policies, so “get more free stuff” could become a campaign issue.
