(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) A man has decided that he will marry one of his female friends because he believes she is by far the hottest woman he knows.
Cal Smith brushed off claims and criticisms that he was shallow and narcissistic by pointing out that he, not anyone else, had to live with his choice of soon-to-be-bride, Suzanne Reynolds.
“I took a look through her social media and the Instagram posts of her friends and it was clear to me they were all sixes and maybe sevens, while she’s clearly a nine,” Smith said. “So the choice for me was clear: Suzanne is ‘the one.’
“Besides, it’s not shallow or meaningless. I find her to be the best-looking woman I know and there’s nothing wrong with using that criteria. What am I supposed to do, marry a woman who’s hideous? What guy wants to wake up next to that every morning? What kind of life is that? I say, no way,” he added.
For her part, Reynolds wasn’t upset at all regarding how Smith based his decision to take her as his bride.
“Look, he’s got a job and his own place. What more could a girl ask for?” she said.
