(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) A millennial voter says he’s a Democrat and will remain one so long as the party continues to give him and other Americans in his age group free stuff.
“The student loan giveaway that I just got was truly awesome – good on President Biden and Democrats for coming through on that,” Rico Sandoval said. “I was getting close to bailing on the party and just not voting anymore but then I got word from my student loan firm that it had been forgiven with this last giveaway, so I’m back on the Biden bus.
“And I’ll stay there as long as that aid keeps coming!” Sandoval added.
Cindy Lawford agreed that she is a Democrat solely because the party likes taxing people who work hard and get ahead so they can use it to buy more votes and support.
“I get all kinds of things – subsidized rent, food stamps, heating and cooling assistance, and I even got an Obama phone once,” she said. “I don’t know why you would be a sap and vote for Republicans; they don’t like taxing people to death and then giving that money away to people who didn’t earn it.”
“I’ll continue to be a Democrat, no question about it. But they have to remember the moment they stop buying my vote, that’s when I’ll stop voting for them,” she added. “My vote is worth something, right? Well, it ought to be!”
