(ROLLA, Mo.) A Missouri woman says she is barely getting by in President Biden’s economy by working three jobs and spending evenings diving for loose change left behind in laundromats.

“It’s hard to get by these days with so much inflation,” Audrey Lewis, 32, said. “But I’ve managed to just barely survive by making my rounds at the local laundromats where sometimes I can find as much as $20 in change after about three hours’ worth of searching. And that ain’t bad!”

“I almost feel like I’m stealing from other people because I know what it’s like being just a couple dollars away each month from being able to pay all my bills, but it’s the only thing I have left to do,” Lewis said, nearly breaking down in tears. “And honestly, if I weren’t spending nearly every night machine-diving at laundromats, I’d probably just be wasting my time having fun with my friends.

“At least now, my evenings are productive,” Lewis reasoned as she dried her eyes with a fairly clean hand towel she says she found at one laundromat recently. “So I am grateful for the little things in life.”
