(WASHINGTON) A leading neurologist has said that he couldn’t believe President Joe Biden managed to get through his State of the Union address, opining that he certainly “put those dementia meds he’s on to the test.”
Dr. Peter Fowler, lead researcher at George Washington University, said it was obvious Biden “was on something” because “no one can stay angry for that long on their own.”
“Yeah, in my professional opinion, it seems pretty obvious he was on something,” Fowler said the evening of the speech. It looked like he had a lot of vigor and vitality, but we know that he doesn’t because we’ve been watching him slur words, fall, forget people’s names, and—oh, he falls a lot, too—for the last three years.
“So whatever it was he was taking, and I have my suspicions, he really gave put those meds to the test last night. No doubt that Pfizer stock is going way up soon because those meds were masterful. Biden proved how well they work, even if only for a short while,” Fowler added.
The White House refused to say whether Biden was “juiced up on something” prior to the speech. But one official admitted off the record that “you’d be surprised what it took to get him ready.”
