(COLUMBIA, S.C.) Still licking her wounds from the political butt-kicking she took from former President Donald Trump, Nikki Haley has become the latest GOP presidential sore loser to deny Trump his rightfully earned endorsement.
“I know I pledged during the first Republican debate I would support the eventual nominee, but that was back when I actually thought I was gonna be the nominee,” Haley said at a local eatery. “When it became obvious — probably a lot longer ago than I actually realized — that the former president was once again going to be our party’s nominee, that stung. A lot.
“So now I’m of the opinion that he has to do more than just win the presidential nomination of the party I have claimed to belong to my entire political career. He’s gonna have to earn his endorsement from me, by golly. And he’s not done that yet,” Haley whined.
Asked if she would ever accept him as president again if he wins, Haley demurred.
“I’ve never been an election denier, but I might have to become one if he pulls it off and beats Joe Biden — who is getting my vote, by the way! This Republican won’t be denied my revenge on Trump,” she snarled.
