(SILVER SPRING, Md.) The White House is breathing easier after experts who studied a photograph taken from the presidential limo after Joe Biden complained about “seeing spots” figured out they were merely raindrops.

“After close study and a careful review, we have determined that the ‘spots’ the president claimed he was seeing was actually condensation as a result of inclement weather in Washington, D.C., today,” Dr. Stew Howard, a vision specialist at Walter Reed Medical Center, told reporters.

“We understand there was quite the medical scare with the president, but he’s fine, and his vision appears to be okay as well. I mean, there were spots on the window glass of the presidential limousine, so I get that he was somewhat alarmed when he saw them and thought there could be something going wrong with his eyes,” Howard continued.

“We’ve given the president instructions about what to do next time this happens, including asking the Secret Service to stop the vehicle in a safe place and—once they figure out it’s just rain or snow or whatever—wipe off the window so the president doesn’t see spots anymore. We realize they may have to do that several times to and from the White House,” he added.
