(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez raged during a hearing while defending Joe, Hunter, and James Biden’s business deals, arguing that if lawmakers simply changed the laws they broke, then they didn’t do anything wrong.
“I’m sick of hearing how Joe and Hunter Biden are crooks!” she raged. “They aren’t crooks if we just change the statutes a little. That’s all we have to do. And if Republicans had courage, they would join me in changing these laws so that the president and his family are never held liable for their corruption!
“Why is this such a hard thing to ask for?” she railed. “We change laws all the time to protect Democrats and their donors, Now, suddenly, we can’t change a couple words in a few statutes for the president of the United States? What sense does that make?”
“It seems simple to me. If the laws get changed then the Biden family did nothing wrong! Join me, my Republican colleagues, and let’s get this done before more Americans come to believe the Bidens are guilty of things only elite citizens get away with in this country!” a crazed Ocasio-Cortez screeched.
