(WASHINGTON) Vice President Kamala Harris was downright giddy after hitting an approval rating milestone of 20 percent this week.

“You know, I’ve worked hard to make people like me, and it hasn’t always been easy, but as you can see, hard work pays off when you work hard at it,” the word salad queen told reporters.

“So today, it’s 20 percent — who knows? By election day, my approval could be a solid 23, heck, even 25 percent! That’s really exciting!” she added.

Republicans pointed out that 82.2 percent of the 301 respondents were registered Democrats, while 5 percent were registered Republicans and around 13 percent were Independents.

Asked about that, Harris rebuffed any suggestion the survey was skewed.

“What else have Republicans got but insults and pointless arguments?” she countered. “They’re haters, and I hate them for that. They’re just upset because they don’t want to see a half-black California woman of Asian descent who also has a tad of American Indian in her to do well. And because I am, they have to tear me down.”

“Well, I won’t let them. This is my moment, and as long as I’m in the moment, I’m gonna take a moment to enjoy the moment,” Harris added.
