(Somewhere Over The Pacific) Pop star Taylor Swift posted a warning about climate change on her Instagram account while aboard her fuel-guzzling private jet on her way back from a tour stop in Japan.
“Hey y’all, it’s not too late to change your consumption habits so you leave a lower carbon footprint on the planet!” she said with a big smile. “As I sit here in private luxury, it dawned on me that other people might be thinking about traveling like I do, and I thought, if more people do that, Earth will die.
“So always keep that in mind,” she said before asking her pilot to adjust his course a bit so she could catch the perfect sunset in her video. “We only have one planet that supports lifestyles like mine, and we’re living on it. Once it’s damaged beyond repair, that’s it. No more second chances for Planet Earth. So do as we lefty elitists say, not as we do!” she added with a giggle.
“And while we’re on the subject, see what you can do about eating less of this,” she said, panning her camera phone down to a four-course meal that included steak and “these lovely taters.”
“Cows are bad!” she shrieked before ending the video.
