(Washington, D.C.) White House officials have installed a bright yellow door to the first couple’s official residence so President Joe Biden stops mistakenly using the delivery entrance.
“Yeah, he was coming in here all the time, and that created a huge problem for the Secret Service to have to deal with,” one unnamed White House worker said, shaking their head. “Everytime he did it, we’d have to shut the entire operation down in here and clear out so he could be evacuated. What a pain in the you-know-what!”
Administration officials denied that the bright yellow door was installed because Biden was confused about where he was going.
“No, that’s not it at all, my goodness. Right-wing trash,” an administration spokeswoman countered. “It just so happens to be that the president asked us to paint the door yellow because that’s his favorite color.”
The spokeswoman went on to admit that since the door was painted, “the president hasn’t used the wrong entrance.”
