(The Bronx) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared during a House hearing that she’s not at all worried about trucks and other supply vehicles not being able to use the destroyed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore because “I get my food from the grocery store.”
“I don’t understand why everyone, especially Republicans, are making such a big deal out of that bridge collapse. It’s pathetic. They don’t even realize that they, too, can just go down to their local grocery store and buy whatever they want or need, any time of day,” she railed. “It’s ridiculous what they’re saying.”
After a GOP lawmaker brought up the fact that the bridge is a major supply artery for the East Coast, AOC blew it off.
“Sounds like a huge conspiracy theory to me,” she screeched. “You guys have been hanging out with Alex Jones too much!”
“Read my lips – go to the store!” she railed. “Get whatever you need there! Stop turning this into a political issue! You just don’t like Transportation Secretary Buttigieg because he’s gay!”
