(Andrews Air Force Base) President Biden was spotted by an astute photojournalist directing his ground team of Secret Service agents to the precise spot he landed before falling down Air Force One steps again.
“We know the president has what we like to refer to as ‘problems with gravity,’ and we have been working with him to be more supportive and helpful to support staff,” White House spokesman Lester Williams said. “This is one of the new measures we have implemented on his behalf — identifying the general area he believes he will land in when he falls.”
“As you can see, the president is quite good at being able to project where he’ll land, and to be honest, that alone should go a long way toward proving he’s mentally fit enough to continue serving. Well, mentally and physically fit,” Williams said. “It’s super helpful knowing ahead of time where he’ll land.”
Observers noted that Secret Service agents were at Biden’s side and aiding him within seconds after the fall, with an agency official noting that the president’s assistance in “figuring out his own trajectory” is immensely helpful.
