(Camp David, Md.) President Biden angrily denied he was the true threat to American democracy while pushing his Justice Department to “get Donald Trump behind bars” before the November election.
“You guys make this stuff up all the time,” Biden stuttered to the assembled media. “My opponent is the one who has been charged, not me. While he abused his Justice Department and used it to target his political opponents, you all know I would never do that to my political opponent.
“But facts are facts. And the facts say Donald Trump is guilty of the crime of winning the presidency when no one thought he would. That’s just true. Everyone knows that. So he should be jailed for that! And yeah, it should have happened months ago,” Biden railed.
One reporter asked Biden if he was being hypocritical.
“C’mon, man! What kind of question is that?” Biden roared. “It’s not hypocritical when Democrats do it. We are the ones trying to protect democracy, and if I have to use the power of every government agency against people we identify as threats, then that’s what I’m gonna do.”
