(Indianapolis, Ind.) A recent college graduate said she was so elated by President Biden’s executive order waiving her student loan that she used the money she would save to launch an automobile dashboard cleaning business.
“I couldn’t believe it when I heard that he did it,” Stephanie Walters, 26, told local media. “I’ve always wanted to start my own business — this business — I just never thought I would be able to do so this soon after graduation.
“I thought I’d be working some dead-end job that had nothing to do with my degree in Women’s Studies, but now look at me! I’m an entrepreneur! And it’s all thanks to the fact that I don’t have to pay back that pesky and very high student loan!” Walters squealed.
She went on to admit that she did not have any work experience in the cleaning of car and truck dashboards, but added, “I’ve cleaned mine a ton of times so I will use that experience to launch and then expand my new business.”
“Gosh, I’m thinking about franchising this!” Walters beamed.
