(Buckhorn State Park) A former Wisconsin businessman trying to get back in touch with himself has finally admitted that he can’t see the forest for the trees.
“Yeah, man, it’s true, I can’t. I can’t see the bigger forest for all these trees. I never really knew that until I got up the courage to actually let myself go, be unchained from the hectic daily life and just live a little,” Byron Wallace, 46, said.
“I have talked to some mental health experts who have really helped me understand, and they have all given me hope that someday when it’s time and when I’m ready, I’ll see that forest,” Wallace continued.
“Until then, I’ll just keep looking and getting better and doing that self-help therapy that I’ve really gotten into, and I’ll be fine, I know I will be,” he added. “This won’t be easy, but trust me, I know it’ll be worth the journey.”
“And every journey begins with that first step,” Wallace beamed.
