(Wardsville, Mo.) Two young teen brothers became frustrated after learning that they likely would have to continue living with their parents well into their 40s.
“I’m not really ready to move out yet — I’m only 14,” said Jason Snelling, “but I wasn’t planning on sticking around here that long, either. Hopefully, I can get my own place long before then.”
“Yeah, I was surprised to hear it when our parents broke the bad news to us,” younger brother Jackson Snelling, 12, said. “I never really thought much about it until lately, you know, and now when I do, it’s kinda depressing. I’m good right now, but man, I don’t wanna be here forever, ya know?”
Jason said he got a bad feeling when his father was forced to get a fourth job.
“That really made me begin to wonder about my own future,” he sighed. “Guess it’s my turn to go to work next.”
