(Atlanta, Ga.) CNN host and anchor Anderson Cooper finally took a more skeptical position with President Biden after the commander-in-chief told him he was the voice behind the 1960s cartoon character “Underdog.”

“I’ll bet you didn’t know that about me, did you, Anderson?” Biden said. “Well, it’s true. I was the voice behind that feisty little guy. And it was also my idea to make him a ‘mild-mannered shoeshine boy.'”

“But Mr. President,” Cooper pushed back, “I believe that was actor Wally Cox.”

“That’s what the studio put out to the country,” Biden pushed back. “It was showbiz. Everyone has a stage name and another identity. I tell you, it was me! I was Underdog! And I did a lot of other cartoon voices too, but I can’t talk about those because I’m still under contract.”
