(Washington, D.C.) Vice President Kamala Harris could barely contain her frustration after letting President Biden beat her to the White House speech podium again.
Asked about it later, a spokesperson for the VP said: “Look, it’s hard on her, okay? She’s a lot younger than he is and she could run circles around him and has at times. So when she has to let him win like that, it just gets to her. She is rightfully frustrated, and sometimes she can’t help but let it show. You would, too, if you were in her shoes.”
When the spokesperson was told that as president, Biden should be first, she responded: “You don’t really think he’s running the show, do you? Because if you do, I’ve got a beachfront property in Colorado to sell you.”
